CLASS 4 MOT TESTING
What is a class 4 MOT?

Generally a class 4 MOT covers cars and light vans up to 3000kg DGW

How much is an MOT?
​
An MOT is £54.85, there is no vat on the MOT fee and we do not charge for a re-test if within 10 working days.

Do I need to book?
​
It is always advisable to book in advance. You can drop your car in to us anytime on the day of the test, we open at 8.30am and close at 6.00pm.

How long does the MOT take?
​
This varies a bit depending on the complexity and condition of the car but usually around an hour
​
What happens if my car fails it's MOT?
​
If your car fails it's test we usually try to get it repaired the same day so as not to inconvenience you by having to bring it back, but there are obviously several factors which influence this like the amount and type of repairs, parts availability and our current work load.

Do you charge for a re-test?
​
We don't charge for either an MOT fail or re-test if we carry out the necessary repair work to enable a pass.
